Introducing The Rize Program
Eastside Uplift presents the Rize Program, providing Baltimore families with up to $200 in utility bill support to help keep essential services like BGE, water, phone, and internet on during times of financial hardship.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To qualify for assistance, applicants must:
Be a resident of Baltimore City
Proof of income and residency
One application per household
Show proof of a current utility bill in their name
Not have received support from this program in the past 12 months
PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS
As part of receiving utility bill support, all participants are required to:
Attend a free 15-minute virtual money management training
Participate in at least two Eastside Uplift events to continue building skills.

We've listened to our community and understand the barriers that can prevent Baltimore City residents from thriving. That's why we’ve launched several initiatives to uplift our community, including Community Fun Day, giveaways, events, partnerships, and The Pull Uplift Initiatives. Every month, we support families and individuals with essential needs, such as utility bill assistance, grocery delivery, transportation help, and more. But we can’t do it alone.
